Hello gardeners. It's a bit lonely here but you gotta start somewhere. I'll be posting pictures from my tiny little garden on Capitol Hill in Seattle. I built a small cedar greenhouse last year and plan to share the history of that as well as some photos of the plants I'm growing in it.

I grew up in Houston and Austin Texas before moving to Seattle Washington about 10 years ago. I live in a small house on Capitol Hill in Seattle with my very soon-to-be wife Beth. We love to garden and try new things all the time. Plenty of failures to go around! I still have a Southwest frame of mind and perpetually underestimate the cold and damp here when gardening.
I develop software during the day and spend all my free time making this site better and meeting new people. It is my hope to transition out of the crazy software world and into a more meaningful career. That's why I started this site, to make a change for the better.
