The November shot is the pink with white streaks I bought this year & put it stright into a hanging basket. Its the one with sparse blooms now.yesterday it had 1 lone bloom but looked to be a total 7 buds left.I bought the peachy one a few weeks later & have a spring trade set up for a clipping of yellow. I tried to cross some, but didn't have luck....so have to wait now.but some of that tried did have success so I'll receive seeds from a lucky one.
My ric rac grew alot more this year, but I also broke a tip so stuck it to root it. Then last year had a piece get too much cold on it and turned orangey and was rotting,so cut that off and removed the rot and it rooted.that real long piece was the original cutting.one lone leaf, but was shorter about 8 inches so its fineally doubled. It actually came from San Antonio .some collage kid.(Hence...reason its hanging in CENTER area of GH..just got this GH for this year.)
I like using those wire baskets lined with coco fiber or moss .I saved a metal fan cage to try lineing. besides I planted a birdhouse, which am trialing houseplants in 1st.
I'm excited.I'll be able to start taking plants out of the GH soon. Its not easy walking in there.i'm going to try useing more uniform pots next year and stack plants.
