Can anyone please help me identify.  It looks a bit like a grass when it doesn’t flower but when it does you get these brilliantly colored flowers and it is a bulbus plant.  I was thinking that it might be a kind of gladiola but I’m not rally sure.

  Yes it is beautiful. I also agree that it is a gladiola but I'm not sure which kind. you should send this photo to Patrick so it can go up on the main page for identification. You should also ask him to place in the gardens tab where you live. Then you will become one more person on this site's world map. It's cool to see where prople live and their gardens.

Anyways, I hope it will be identified because now I'm curious.
