    Mint Mint Mint

I love mint! What a joy that it is so great for tea and generally just rubbing your hands through, and it grows like a weed. It is a weed!

I picked up a chocolate mint plant over at the boutique-ey garden center a few weeks ago. If You haven't tried chocolate mint before then give it a try.

A while back I read through a book by Monty Don and he talked about how anytime he passes a rosemary bush he has to run his hands through it. I do the same thing with all my herbs. Sometimes I think it makes them grow better.Big Smile

Chocolate mint is so wonderful. I have spearmint, peppermint and chocolate mint. I also hear that pineapple mint is fantastic!

We love mint too!  (Just remember to always keep it in a container because it spreads like crazy...)

I'm a big tea drinker but I've never tried using my own mint leaves.  Do you brew them fresh or dry them first?

    Hey welcome to the site!

I just pick a bunch of mint leaves, wash them in cold water and then steep them directly in the mug. No need to dry them, but you can dry them to keep for long periods of time. I make chocolate mint tea just about every day during the summer after I work out in the garden.
