About me
indoor gardener under lights in northern california... i run a grow shop devoted to said hobby, for almost 8 years now, sometimes it seems more like a job... in my free time i am out in the woods foraging, edibles, medicinals, craft plants, wild mushrooms. i draw a lot of colored botanical artwork, when i have the motivation. plants collected (large collections) have been at various times, Asclepiadaceae, Orchidaceae, Solanaceae, a brief stint (2 seasons) with hydroponic asiatic lilies, and several theme "natives" for paludariums and other artificial micro climates. its really hot and dry where i currently live, so cactus has been the latest fun at the shop.
