Is this a Primrose? The leaves look like it, and the flower clump. I haven't found one with this type of flower itself though.

Agree with your thoughts on the leaves and flowers look a bit like "Snapdragons"

I'm not quite sure, try "Lady Slipper". They are usually sold as houseplants where I am (Oregon). Give it a try.

I agree with Vera. I think they are "Lady Slippers", a common name is "Pocketbook Plant".

I agree with Pocketbook Plant, Ladies Purse or Calceolaria. I didn't, however, find any lady slipper that ressembled this plant. I think if we stick with these we've identified the flower. Thanks all.
Cheers

In the South we call these "pocket book plants". It's actual name is Calceolaria Herbeofruticosa and there is a good bit of information available on it on the web. It comes in a variety of colors and makes a good house plant or outdoor plant in warmer areas.
