It looks like freesia to me, I am a retail florist, and we sell cut freesia that looks exactly like this. Not a tropical flower, closer to bulb plants like lilies and tulips.

I agree with you both. Even though it isn't "exotic" it should be just because of how beautiful it is.

Sniff it. Does it smell pretty? If it does, then you'll know for sure that it's freesia...

It grows from a bulb. It is Freesia. They come in many colors and bloom briefly in spring. My garden has many of them.
