that's an oleander

Thanks anonymous. I always knew that oleander was very poisonous but wow, take a look at this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oleander

Now I was going to suggest a type of Hibiscus maybe.

I was thinking that maybe Oleander or Nerium was much smaller than this flower.

After I visited the wikipedia site, I enlarged their photo and put it along side the enlarged one of this photo. I concede. I was able to see the leaves and the buds much closer so I could compare them and I would have to say you nailed it right off the bat. Good on ya, Anonymous!

It is pink oleander. They grow everywhere here in Galveston, Texas.

Definately an Oleander. I have rows of them across the front of my house. Beautiful plants but hate the caterpillars
