Note: I have been waiting to post this. On the right is what this plant looks like when it first emerges and then it becomes the photo on the left. I think it's a bulb. All I know is I never planted it. I think the squirrels were nice enough to do that for me. lol

Nope, never mind. This plant isn't tuberlus or spreading. Oh well. Maybe I should ask the squirrels.

Thank you Eve. I do believe you nailed it. It's common name is blue bells. What I find interesting though is that they say it is tubular and spreading. Mine hasn't moved an inch or made any special appearances in any other part of my garden. Which is just fine with me. I also got the bulb part wrong so I have no idea how I ended up with it in my garden but I'm not complaining. It is a very pretty plant. I love how it emerges with dark purple leaves and then turns green with little dainty blue-purple flowers.

definately bluebells.....will come up every spring.....early.........spreads every year........
