Could be an Acer rubrum...

My first thought too, was that it was a tree shoot---
Here on the west coast we have Sycamores with a similar leaf shape

It's a wild grape vine.

Looks like Vitis spp (wild grape). If the leaves are hairy on the underside, then it is.
