Note: this looks like some sort of succulent. it just bloomed and over the last three years have only seen it bloom once before, two flowers. the "dead" looking parts are actually closest to the base and the green parts are located on the ends of these parts. i would like to get it in better healthso any suggestions would be great thanks!

I have a book that says succulents like Ice Plant need to be watered once a week in hot months, and then only once a month during the colder months and winter.

There is another "ice plant" called Delosperma cooperi or Hardy Ice Plant. Also a succulent. Also invasive in Cali.

I never water mine. Just let the weather do it's thing.
