Hmmmm - I would have to say it was not Okra not now that I see the leaves and flowers fully. Though the seed pods do look like it. An interesting one - looks like a job for google

I had one of these growing on my flower bed and did lots of research to find out that it is called a moon flower. Their blooms open at night for the moths and other insects. it is possible for this plant to take over and reach twenty feet if not controlled. At first site, before the blooms, I thought it was just some sort of milk weed, very large bat like moths were loving mine.

Hmmmm again - I'm not at all sure if this is a moon flower. The moon flower is related to the morning glory and moon flowers 'Ipomoea alba' have a trumpet shaped flower, gererally white which open right out. The seed heads on a moon flower are a small capsule with a pointed tip which split open when dry. I could be wrong but I've been scouring the net for days.

To me this plant definately looks like it is member of the pumpkin, squash, gourd family (Cucurbitaceae). Perhaps the original poster could give us a bit more information about the plant which might help identify it.

ok so the leaf has got me again!, but the flower looks like it may be related to a rehmannia (chinese foxglove), there are a few in this family, so l shall do some more research and get back to you!...p

I can say for sure it's not a moon flower nor Okra as I have grown both. But the flowers do look like they are in the foxglove family. But the growth just does not look like it is in the F.G family. Hmmm It's pretty, but I am baffled on this one. Suz...
