Note: dark green leaves with small purple "spires" This appeared in my flower bed as well as across the street in someone else' bed. Any help out there to identify would be GREAT

Does it have squared, hollow stems? How tall does it get? It MAY be of the Lamiaceae family... There are two which are pretty self-seeding: Self-Heal, and another whose name I cannot access at this time! (Old Timer's don'cha know!) I think it's the latter. Both are members of the Ajugas, as well. (Bugleweed)

After I compared the stinging with the dead nettle I have to change my opinion and go with the dead nettle. The clumps of flowers and the size of the leaves are what convinced me. At least we had the nettle part! :D
