Note: These are flourishing in fine grain beach sand. I remember seeing them in the same exact spot last year at Barnegat Lighthouse, so it's definitely a perennial. I would like them cause I live on a sand lot.

not a perennial....but does reseed itself very readily!!

Yep, Cosmos, cheerful plants, easy to grow. Keep em deadheaded and they'll bloom like crazy.

Will definitely go crazy. I have some photos of mine here under photos. Mine have gone so crazy I can't keep up with the deadheading!

No doubt. But in England we have to grow from seed each year. Takes no slug damage, not as you will have slugs on sand. Lovely plant. Julie

Thanks! What's deadheading? Do you mean cutting of the expired flowers?

yes....cutting off the expired flowers is deadheading.....
