sort of looks like false solomon's seal... well, kinda looks like two different plants, really...

The foliage might be from a different plant. This is the only pic I have of it and since the whole stems are not in the pic...

this looks like a wildflower that grows in British hedgerows called Cuckoo Pint or Lords and Ladies. The berries turn bright orange if it is the same one and are very poisonous.I cant just see the leaf, but the one on the plant I refer to is a rounded leaf with odd small blueish spots. Julie

Your description, especially the berries (beds) sounds just like the Arum.

I hear ya. I only came up with this because there was a similar i.d. made earlier. It's on page 38. It looked familiar so I thought I'd take a look through the old photos and that's what I came up with.

I looked at the pic on pg 38, and it does look alike. I took the picture in June, so I guess that's why they were green, but I didn't even think about them turning another color...

It's definitely Arum italicum. I grow it in my yard.
