Perennials for borders and edging

Many gardeners prefer to edge a perennial bed with one or two varieties of plants while others like a less refined look. A long continuous planting of one type of plant will  make the bed more formalized  whereas the use of many different shapes and sizes will have a more natural look. It's up to you! Here are a few common border perennials to check out.
